Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Gold Act Events Pty Ltd for your wedding. All bookings are made in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Bookings, Deposit and Final Numbers
We will hold a tentative booking for a maximum of 14 days. Bookings are confirmed once your security deposit has been received. A deposit of 50% payment is required within 14 days of making your tentative booking. Deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. Accurate numbers must be guaranteed 14 days prior to the event. If your numbers decrease after the confirmation you will be charged at the confirmed number rate. If your number increase please contact us as soon as possible to ensure we can accommodate your changes. Prices are current at the time of quotation however are subject to change at management’s discretion.

Hire and Charges
All hire fees are for a one day period, an additional day charge may apply. General and normal cleaning is included in the cost of hire. All breakages and loss will be charged to client at the replacement cost including GST and freight.

Cancellations and Date Changes
All cancellations and date changes must be notified in writing 30 days prior to event to avoid full payment charges. Deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Payment
Full payment is required no later than 14 days prior to your event. A security bond of 20% will be required and held to allow for any additional charges that may accrue due to loss or damage on all items hired from Gold Act. This bond will be returned the day after event commences. Gold Act will accept payment via cash or electronic transfer. All security deposit bonds will be returned via electronic transfer.

Responsibility
You the hirer are financially responsible for all damage and/or loss sustained to Gold Act property and all hired items for the duration of your hire, whether through your own actions or through the actions of your guest/attendees.  No live candles are to be used on or around Gold Act property.

Loss and Damages

Gold Act must be notified immediately of any equipment lost or damaged during the hire period. The customer indemnifies Gold Act respect of all such loss. The customer must pay on demand to the company the following amounts;

- If the equipment is lost, the customer must pay to the company the current replacement cost of the equipment;

- If the equipment is damaged, the customer must pay for all repairs;

- If no notice is given to the company of a lost item it shall be deemed as extended hire until such item is returned, and hire fees with continue until notice is given or the equipment is found.
